Job Title: 2D Game Animator

Location – On-site, Bangalore
Experience: 3+ Years (Portfolio Required)

About the Role : Are you excited to create vibrant, engaging game animations? We’re looking for a talented 2D Game Animator to join our team and help bring our playful, high-energy games to life. You’ll use Spine to animate characters and UI elements, craft storyboards to guide our games’ visual storytelling, and set the tone for animation quality across projects. Key Responsibilities: 

• Animate 2D characters, icons, visual effects, and UI assets using Spine and After Effects
• Create clear and engaging storyboards to illustrate animation concepts and overall game flow.
• Collaborate closely with developers and artists to seamlessly integrate animations into games using PixiJS and Unity.
• Define, document, and maintain animation styles and motion guidelines across multiple projects.
• Optimize animations for smooth performance on both mobile and web platforms.
• Accept feedback positively, iterate quickly, and contribute ideas during playtests and team meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D Animator (preferably in casual, mobile, or slot games).\
• Strong proficiency in Spine (mandatory).
• A portfolio showcasing expressive, high-quality 2D game animations.
• Experience in creating storyboards and handling the complete animation pipeline from concept to final integration.
• Knowledge of animation integration with development teams using PixiJS and Unity.
• Strong understanding of animation principles: timing, movement, anticipation, and flow.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have : 

• Experience in the gambling, slots, or iGaming industry.
• Familiarity with export pipelines from Spine to PixiJS and Unity.
• Additional skills in illustration or character/asset design.
• UI/UX animation experience for interactive products.
